I'm a operating systems (mainly Linux) and firmware developer, based in Barcelona. I run a small engineering consultancy for free and open source software and firmware, and I do L3 support at SUSE.

Most of my time goes into packages and build systems.

I maintain hundreds of packages across several distributions and cycle through it at about one package a day on average (refreshing versions, fixing build breaks, porting patches upstream, etc.). My main focus is Source Mage, but I pay special attention to Buildroot, Alpine, Void Linux and openSUSE as well.

I spend quite a lot of time on mainline kernel work.

I'm fond of preservation work, specially getting old code building again, and reverse engineering source code that had been lost.

Donations pay for the unglamorous parts: build machines and disk, VPS, and test hardware. Hard to expense, easy to do without. They don't buy influence, I keep maintaining the same things either way.
